Terms & Conditions

These terms govern your child’s enrolment in SparkX on-site and online programmes. Completing registration or paying the fees means the parent accepts them.

On-site programme

01 Enrolment and eligibility

  1. 1.1 Programmes are for children aged 7 to 18, and registration is completed by a parent or guardian.
  2. 1.2 The parent provides accurate details and tells us about any health condition or special need the instructor should know about.
  3. 1.3 Enrolment is confirmed once fees are paid and session times are agreed with the family.

02 Freezing a subscription This programme only

  1. 2.1 Parents on plans from three months to one year may freeze the subscription for travel or school exam periods, up to twice during the plan.
  2. 2.2 The total freeze period may not exceed three months, and freeze requests must be submitted in advance through the official contact channels.
  3. 2.3 When the subscription resumes, the academy may reschedule sessions to match the level at which the student stopped.

03 Attendance and postponement This programme only

  1. 3.1 Please arrive 10 minutes before the session. Sessions are not extended to make up for late arrival.
  2. 3.2 You may postpone one session a month with at least 24 hours’ notice; the make-up time is arranged with the academy.
  3. 3.3 An absence without prior notice counts as a completed session.
  4. 3.4 If the academy cancels a session for any reason, it is made up in full at a time that suits the family.

04 Academy premises This programme only

  1. 4.1 Sessions take place at the academy on King Fahd Rd, Al Mohammadiyyah, Riyadh.
  2. 4.2 The parent is responsible for drop-off and pick-up on time. Students are released only to the parent or an authorised person.
  3. 4.3 A waiting area is available for parents during the session.
  4. 4.4 All tools, 3D printers and materials are provided on site. The parent covers the cost of any damage caused by deliberate misuse.

05 Fees and payment

  1. 5.1 Plan fees are paid in full before the first session.
  2. 5.2 Prices are in Saudi riyals. The price at the time of enrolment applies until the plan ends.

06 Refund policy This programme only

  1. 6.1 If the programme does not suit your child, you can get a full refund by requesting it after the first session and before the second.
  2. 6.2 After this period, the parent may stop the subscription and request a refund of the remaining sessions at any time, provided the academy is notified at least 48 hours before the next session, so that the stop takes effect from that session.
  3. 6.3 If notice is not received at least 48 hours before the next session, that session counts as completed and the stop takes effect from the session after it.
  4. 6.4 Completed sessions are charged at the base per-session price, which is the per-session price of the monthly subscription, not the package price and without any package discount. A 20% administrative fee is then deducted from the remaining balance, and the rest is refunded.
  5. 6.5 Refunds are returned to the original payment method within 14 working days of approval.

07 Intellectual property and photography

  1. 7.1 Your child’s work and projects remain their own.
  2. 7.2 We may photograph activities or student work for educational and marketing use. No student’s face is shown without the parent’s consent.
  3. 7.3 Course materials and curricula belong to the academy and may not be copied, published or recorded without permission.

08 Privacy

  1. 8.1 We use your and your child’s details only for enrolment, communication and progress tracking, and never share them with third parties for marketing.

09 Changes and contact

  1. 9.1 The academy may update these terms and will notify subscribers of any material change before it takes effect.

Online programme

02 Freezing a subscription This programme only

  1. 2.1 The three-month package does not include a subscription freeze.
  2. 2.2 Parents on the six-month package may freeze the subscription for travel or school exam periods up to twice, with a total freeze period of no more than 60 days.
  3. 2.3 Parents on the yearly package may freeze the subscription up to three times, with a total freeze period of no more than four months.
  4. 2.4 Freeze requests must be submitted in advance through the official contact channels. When the subscription resumes, the academy may reschedule sessions to match the level at which the student stopped.

03 Attendance and postponement This programme only

  1. 3.1 Sessions are live and one-to-one with the instructor, at a fixed weekly time agreed with the family.
  2. 3.2 You may postpone one session a month on every package with at least 24 hours’ notice; the make-up time is arranged with the academy.
  3. 3.3 If the student is more than 15 minutes late without notice, the session counts as completed.
  4. 3.4 If the academy cancels a session or the connection drops on the instructor’s side, the session is made up in full.

04 Devices and connection This programme only

  1. 4.1 A computer, a stable internet connection, a camera and a microphone are required. The session link is sent before each session.
  2. 4.2 You do not need to buy a 3D printer; projects are printed at the academy when needed.
  3. 4.3 We recommend a parent or adult is at home during sessions for younger students.
  4. 4.4 Sessions may not be recorded, and the link may not be shared with others.

06 Refund policy This programme only

  1. 6.1 The parent may cancel the subscription and request a refund at any time, with no cancellation or administrative fee.
  2. 6.2 Cancellation requests must be made at least 48 hours before the next session for the cancellation to take effect from that session; if the request arrives later, that session counts as completed and the cancellation takes effect from the session after it.
  3. 6.3 Only completed sessions are charged, at SAR 92 each (the per-session price of the three-month package); the rest of the amount paid is returned, and nothing further is owed.
  4. 6.4 Example: a yearly package of SAR 4,050 with 10 completed sessions: SAR 920 is charged and SAR 3,130 is returned.
  5. 6.5 Refunds are returned to the original payment method within 14 working days of approval.
